I would like to inform you that the Annual Meeting of the Polish American Congress - Northern California Division of July 9th, 2006 in San Francisco was unexpectedly disrupted at the very beginning by Mr. Zdzislaw Zakrzewski and his associates from PoloniaSF.org/e-mail list and I made several attempts to bring this meeting to order to proceed according with the meeting agenda. Unfortunately, I did not succeed and had to declare that meeting was unruly, out of order and had to terminate the meeting to be conducted at a later date to be determined by the current Division's Executive Board.
After I left the meeting, Mr. Zdzislaw Zakrzewski took over and considered himself to be a chairman of the Annual and Election Meeting. While pretending to be the chairman, he also run for the office of the President of the Northern California Division and considered himself to be a winner in the false elections.
Obviously, we are going to prevail in the court of law over Mr. Zakrzewski and his associates, but Polish American Community, Polish Club, PNA Group 7 and other public organization here are still suffering from Edmund Lewandowski's groundless law suite which cost the public organization in San Francisco around $380,000 in legal defense fees and court costs.
Much better approach would be to recognize Mr. Zdzislaw Zakrzewski and his associates as a forming group of a new Division of the Polish American Congress in Northern California. Current Northern California Division's will not oppose it, if this group would like to register in the future with the State of California as the PAC - East Bay - Martinez Division. This approach will also challenge existence of Lewandowski's bogus organization, the Poloniasf.org which is in its true nature nothing else than just privately owned internet portal with an associated e-mail list and should never be allowed to be a member of any PAC Division . Our Division will never recognize this creature to be a member organization of our Division with the status equal to that of the public organizations like: Polish National Alliance Group 7, Polish American Engineers Club, Polish Club of San Francisco, Stowarzyszenie Polskich Kombatantow, Literary and Dramatic Association and Saint Stanislaus Benevolent Society. These public organizations already indicated their opposition to granting of membership status in the PAC-NCD for the PoloniaSF.org/e-mail list privately owned by Edmund Lewandowski.

Annul Meeting of Polish American Congress

Statement by the current PAC-NCD Executive Board 1. Annual meeting of the Polish American Congress – Northern
Division started at 1:00 p.m. according to the written Agenda (see
Attachment #1) submitted prior to the meeting by the President of the
Division, Anthony Zukovsky, to the Division Secretary, Sebastian Zurek,
members and general audience. 2. Registration of members and delegates from member
organizations began at 1:00 p.m. and continued until 1:50 p.m. During
registration all members in good standing and delegates of member
organizations in good standing, who have paid PAC Division dues
continuously for each year of membership for the years 2004, 2005 and
2006, either before or at the present meeting, received voting ballots.
Individuals attending the meeting who made claims to membership but did
not pay membership dues as per above were not given voting ballots.
These individuals then began to disrupt the meeting with unruly
behavior, shouting and arguments under Zakrzewski’s leadership. 3. At 1:50 p.m. the President, Anthony Zukovsky, attempted
several times to call the meeting to order but was unable to do so
because the meeting was being disrupted. During this disruption, the
President introduced a motion to elect as Chairman of the meeting, Mr.
Mroz, This motion was then seconded by Krystyna Chciuk. Waldemar
Glodek, Vice President and Sebastian Zurek, Division Secretary, began
tolling the vote on the motion but were unable to conclude the toll
because they were interrupted by Mr. Zakrzewski and his unruly
associates. Mr. Mroz was therefore unable to assume his position as
Chairman and the meeting was unable to proceed. As a result, the
President was forced to declare that the meeting was unruly, out of
order and had to terminate the meeting to be continued at a later date
to be determined by the current PAC-NCD Executive Board.

Dear President Zofia Zakrzewska:
This is to inform you, and your husband, Zdzislaw Zakrzewski, Secretary of the Board of the Polam Federal Credit Union who recently proclaimed himself to be a President of the Polish American Congress - Northern California Division (PAC-NCD) that your today phone call to the current Treasurer of the PAC-NCD, Zofia Shicker, informing her that you intend to put stop payments on certified funds being transferred for safe keeping to the National Treasurer of the Polish American Congress in Chicago, Illinois represent conflict of interest and violation of the banking law and also intend to perform illegal activitiy to intentionally harm the PAC-NCD and the Polonia Foundation of the PAC-NCD.
The above statement also applies to any attempt to stop or to block access to funds deposited at the Polam FCU in the the following accounts:

- # 3386 - Polonia Foundation of PAC-NCD
- I also would like to remind you that the Polam FCU failed to explain unauthorized withdrawal of funds of $4,000.00 from the PAC-NCD account # 3113 by performing journal entry on May 19th, 2006 after this funds were deposited by check on May 4th, 2006.

The Nominating Committee of the Division:
Dr. Piotr Moncarz - Chairman, Dr. Elizabeth Cathers - member, Mr Jakub Urban - member, presented its report and recommended that the current members of our PAC Division Executive Board to be elected to serve for the next term with an addition Mr. George Slawek for a position of the Second Vice President:
- President - Mr. Antoni Zukowski
- First Vice President - Mr. Waldemar Glodek
- Second Vice President - Mr. George Slawek
- Secretary - Mr. Sebastian Zurek
- Treasurer - Mrs. Zofia Shicker
I would like also to inform membership that due to an unforeseen financial accident, caused by the major deposited check return, issued by one of the PAC's - Polish Spring Festival vendors, we are unable to close the Division's financial books and for that reason the Executive Board decided to reschedule the Annual Meeting of the Division from Sunday June 18th to Sunday July 9th.
In mean time, the PAC Executive Board would like to receive reasonable explanation why a major check in the amount of $4,000.00 deposited on May 4th, 2006 was returned by the Polam Federal Credit Union on May 19th, 15 days later with no immediate notification of the PAC Treasurer until June 9th exposing our Division to a potential loss of the financial credibility. Actually, the day of the check return coinside with my E-mail also of May 19th informing Secretary of the POLAM FCU, Mr. Zdzislaw Zakrzewski, that the Polish American Congress is going to exercise its voting rights at the Polam's Annual meeting the next day which I attended and nobody told me there about a problem with the bounced check.
At present, we are unable to conclude what was the real reason behind this unusually late check return - could it be the pr-election politics due to the Polam's Secretary, Mr. Zdzislaw Zakrzewski taking non stop shots to make some members of the current PAC Executive Board looking very bad? We are asking the PAC Audit Committee and as well the Polam's Supervisory Committee to investigate this case and to report its findings to the Annual Meeting on July 9th. In mean time the Executive Board is proceeding with negotiations to receive from the vendor a cashier check payment in full for the food and beverage concession at the Polish Spring Festival of May 7th, 2006.
